Re: ZGB, a little engine for the Game Boy

I would never steal someone's code and claim it as my own. Even if it was free to do so. I want to make something on my own that I'm proud of!

@Hell_666 Thanks, I'll message Zalo. smile

Re: ZGB, a little engine for the Game Boy

Oh, wow, I hadn't noticed that ZGB didn't have a license. There's an issue open about it, at least.

Sure you can you are even welcome to take this code while you are at it.

Pretty sure zal0 wont mind smile

That would be illegal. Since Zal0's bitbitjam does not come with a license, it's "all rights reserved" by default.

Re: ZGB, a little engine for the Game Boy

Hi guys

After several people requesting it I have added the MIT license to ZGB.
You can basically use it for anything you want (commercial use included) as long as you give the engine some credit wink

That's great!

I added a comment to the issue pertaining GBT Player's license (which is BSD-2): https://github.com/Zal0/ZGB/issues/5#is … -358598678

Re: ZGB, a little engine for the Game Boy

I didn't know this was going on! I've added a comment on the GitHub issue. Basically, I don't care, so I can just modify the header of my files (so that you don't have to include any annoying license file) and we're all good.

Re: ZGB, a little engine for the Game Boy

I've cleaned the code quite a bit (specially mod2gbt) and added the license headers: https://github.com/AntonioND/gbt-player/tree/v3.0.6

Please tell me if everything works as expected, I've changed a few things in mod2gbt and I don't really have a GBDK toolchain around to test.
