Hello every one, I recently dusted off my old game boy color to discover that the "A" button does not work. I followed the normal procedure of cleaning the contacts and but I had no luck. The carbon pads don't look worn out either. I finally showed my gameboy to a friend of mine and he mentioned that there could be an issue with the trace that the "A" connects to. He said maybe someone pressed the "A" button so hard that it fractured the traces inside the board. He suggested you could run wires to fix the problem. This is where I need help, because we don't know what pin # and what I/C the "A" button hooks up to. I tried looking and some schematics but I had no luck. Is there anyone out there that could help me out? I really would like to get his gameboy up and running. I've had a lot of childhood memoires with that thing, it would be a shame to throw it away!
Thanks very much.
