Lsdj 8kb sram hack

The last version of lsdj to support 32k of sram was 2.3.6.  instead of having to get separate 32k sram chips wouldn't it be nicer to be able to put a version that would only require 8k.  i thought that instead of 256 chains and phrases,  instead something like 64 chains and 128 phrases.  that is if the sav data were stored in a completely uncompressed fashion.

also does anyone know if lsdj will run without any sram attached?  ive looked at the debug window of bgb for lsdj and saw plenty of empty wram.
