Pretty cool so far, but I think it needs music or ambience or something. It feels kind of empty with just the sound effects.
And the bombs don't ever seem to hit the enemy ships. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if that part's just not finsished yet.

Yes, maybe instructions are not clear enough. Player must push B button twice to detonate it.

Update: corrected difficulty level and added blinking animation when powerup is lost.
To-do list: Learn how to insert background music into the game
