Muting or Extracting Gameboy music channels

hi all,

i was really hoping to do a modern music remake/conversion of some original gameboy music but i need to either be able to mute channels of the original gameboy song (so i can hear each individual sound channel clearly), or otherwise if there isnt a player available to do this, instead be able to extract individual channels of the original gameboy song

does anyone know if there are any tools or methods/ideas for me to do this (i am using windows but also have access to a linux machine, or mac would be ok also).  thank you

many emulators support this feature. for example in BGB you just need to press F5/F6/F7/F8 to enable/disable sound channels.

In BGB, you can also export the sound into separate files for each channel. Look in the settings under audio.
