My second attempt to install backlight

My first time I had to remove the bottom layer was a big misery! See video or image below:

Therefore, before I start again, I would like some tips on how you can best remove the bottom layer from the screen. I don't want to screw this up again! I have 96% alcohol for this time...

Which mod/kit are you using? I personally only know that generally people discourage removing the polarized layer.

Oh wow, now I understand it. Are all of those marks scratches or are some of them runmarks from the adhesive? I would also try to get a really thin razor blade for removal and probably help with a cue-tip with some alcohol from the side while pulling the silver back off, but other than that...

Well, friend of mine did it for the second time yesterday and he fixed it pretty well! I'll just give it a try and will let you know...
