hello to everyone, and nice to meet you all.
i'm new here so first of all i hope this goes not against the rules. i read them and should not be against them. if i'm wrong please let me know and sorry in advance!
i currently study graphic design, ma in publishing and i'm due to graduate in september. for my thesis project i wanted to experiment if i could make graphics and print a book with a gameboy, so i coded two apps, gameboy writer: a variable width font, variable in height and width + styles (regular, italic, bold). and a companion app gameboy painter, which lets you draw pixel based images with various tools: pencil in 4 sizes, spray paint and bucket with patterns, in all 3 colours of the dmg. the both support the gameboy pocket printer.
you can find more info on my website: https://www.nikolaidelhaize.com
in the section gameboy writer and painter. for painter i also embedded the emulatojs + download of the rom.
you can download the rom v0c on there at the gameboy painter page.

but this doesn't want to be self promotion, but actually a request. my supervisor said that when app developing, testing is crucial. i do not have a developer background and i purely based the app off my personal taste.
for my thesis book i thought it would be cool to have a collection of scribbles and doodles made by users online testing the app, so i released the prototype rom of painter on my website if you wish to use your own emulator, or en embedded emulatorjs instance. i know i am no one to ask especially since we are all busy, but if you have got some spare time and patience, that would really help! (-:
i also posted this on reddit and i hope i am not spamming it too much. being new to publicising my work i really do not know how to reach people so i am trying ways to connect to people.
i'll put some images down here, on my website i have more.
sorry to disturb!
