Thanks, @drludos!
I take good note of your feedback. Now we are going to detail what the final game will be and it will be very useful.
I think it will be very important to expand the way in which the state of the bases is indicated, it is one of the things that I have in mind and I will think about it.
About balancing, it's funny that you say that because now the only difference between characters is the special weapon. But the differences will evolve for the final release.
In fact, Lilian's special weapon is the most overpowered one in my opinion. When thrown it attracts all the enemies around making it easier to kill them at the same time (it evens manages to attract the boss's claws). It's good to finish the stage early and get the S rank.
We are trying our best to have the game released soon. I will prioritize the most important aspects to add and expand so that the game feels complete but at the same time we can manage to release it soon.
Thanks for the support and for the feedback. I will continue informing you guys of the progress as always .

I hope you are making good progress on the full version of the game!
I'll have a technical question if it's not secret: what engine / tools did you use to compose and play back the music?
Did you use GBT or Carillon?
The music is very catchy and very entertaining, I hope to be able to make something as good someday in my own little games!

Our composer is using Carrillon for the music and sound effects. It's very easy to integrate with RGBS using assembler, and it comes with some code examples. It also have some sample sound effects.
I'm glad you like the music, and I hope we can improve it for the final release.
For me, making better games it's a matter of practise and dedication. And I will be looking forward for your next little game.

Thanks for the info! I'm not sure that you can improve the game music as it's already a perfect fit IMHO!
I agree with you about practice and dedication being key to make games, especially on retro platforms - it take longer than on "modern" platform, but it's much more fun to do!
Good luck with the final steps of the project!

Yeah this game is cool as hell, definitely an inspiration. I'd buy a physical copy if that happens.
